Arrival: Simpson-Reed trailhead on Walker Road, about 0.1 mile north of US 199.
Approach: From northbound US-101 join US 199 toward Grants Pass. Take Walker Road north from US 199 and use the marked east-side trailhead parking.
Use the relevant visitor lot; campground fees and vehicle limits differ. Seasonal walking bridges to Stout Grove are removed and are not a vehicle shortcut.
