Four public operators cover different parts of the redwood corridor and its southern connections. Open the operator’s current timetable before relying on a connection.

Southern Humboldt and Avenue of the Giants

HTA Southern Humboldt Line

Humboldt Transit Authority lists stops at Benbow, Garberville, Redway, Phillipsville, Miranda, Myers Flat, Weott, and Redcrest, continuing north through Rio Dell, Fortuna, and Eureka. Service frequency and day-of-week patterns vary.

Scotia to Trinidad

Redwood Transit System

The main Humboldt County corridor service links Scotia, Rio Dell, Fortuna, Fields Landing, Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, Westhaven, and Trinidad. Use the live operator page for fares, transfer details, and service notices.

Eureka to Smith River

Redwood Coast Transit Route 20

Route 20 connects Eureka and Arcata with the airport, Prairie Creek and the Kuchel Visitor Center, Klamath, Crescent City, Fort Dick, and Smith River. Confirm the current seasonal timetable before planning a park stop.

Southern connections

Mendocino Transit Route 65

Route 65 links Fort Bragg, Willits, Ukiah, and Santa Rosa; it does not itself continue to Leggett. Use operator connection information rather than assuming a same-day through trip.

Planning a transit visit

Many trailheads, beaches, and scenic side roads are not served at their entrance. A route passing through a town does not establish a safe walk from the stop. No taxi or ride-hail availability is claimed here.
