State Parks directs drivers seven miles south of Crescent City to the signed campground road, then two miles east; the directions pin uses the agency's published coordinate.

The campground sits among redwoods in the Mill Creek watershed.

Several signed campground trails begin inside the seasonal gate.
Public water access
Stream exploration is documented on a separate trail; no swimming or boat launch is represented from the campground.
Water conditions
The campground is normally seasonal, May through September. Fire rings do not establish that fires are currently allowed; check reservations and restrictions.
