Arrival: Mainland Battery Point parking at the foot of South A Street; the lighthouse is reached on foot only when tides permit.

Approach: CDFW documents the northbound approach: from US-101 turn west onto Front Street, follow it to its end, then turn south on A Street to the mainland parking lot. No southbound cross-lane shortcut or offshore driving destination is asserted.
