Arrival: South Fork marked trailhead at parkway mile marker 129.00.
Approach: From US-101 use the southern Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway entrance. Continue north on the parkway to the trailhead opposite Prairie Creek trailhead; use the designated trailhead parking.
Observe posted parking and road restrictions. Current trail closures may limit the onward hike; the arrival record is not an all-clear for the entire trail.
Official directions & access ↗A short, steep old-growth route from Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway that connects with Brown Creek, Foothill, and Cathedral Trees trails. This is not an Eel River location.
