- Hiking and beachcombing are documented, but walkers should stay clear of designated OHV traffic areas.

- BLM lists kayaking and beach access; no Eel River access or guaranteed hand-launch facility is represented.
- Water conditions
- Open during daylight hours. Grills do not establish that fires are currently permitted, and BLM warns that the jetty is not safe for recreation.
