Approach: From US-101 use the southern Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway entrance. Use visitor-center parking and the marked Miners Ridge trailhead.
Observe posted parking and road restrictions. Current trail closures may limit the onward hike; the arrival record is not an all-clear for the entire trail.
Official directions & access ↗A 4.1-mile trail from Prairie Creek Visitor Center following a forested ridge toward Gold Bluffs Beach. It can form a strenuous longer loop with James Irvine and coastal trails.
