Arrival: West Flint Ridge trailhead on Coastal Drive, then a 0.25-mile hike.
Approach: Take Klamath Beach Road and Alder Camp Road onto the open northern Coastal Drive loop; use the marked west Flint Ridge trailhead.
Permit required; no driving to the campsite. Use the open north loop, not the closed southern road.
