Highway access → arrival
Arrival: East-side Coastal Trail parking just north of Wilson Creek Bridge, then hike to camp.
Approach: NPS now directs DeMartin visitors to east-side trailhead parking by the Coastal Trail sign rather than the Wilson Creek picnic lot. Do not substitute the campground coordinate.
NPS explicitly keeps the trail and campground open during fall/winter geotechnical drilling. Legal vehicle approach into the east-side roadside trailhead remains undocumented; construction is not being misreported as a closure.
Manager access information ↗A ten-site designated backcountry camp on the Coastal Trail in Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park. It requires an online permit and is reached on foot, not by a public vehicle road.

- The camp is set in the coastal-forest corridor north of Klamath.

- No swimming or boat-launch facility is represented at the camp.
- Water conditions
- A current online permit is required; verify water, food-storage, fire, and weather requirements.
